 We've been using this patch in production for a couple of months now,
 without issue, however we had some users add youtube videos using the
 secure version of the shortened URL (https://youtu.be/xxxxxxx) which this
 patch didn't catch (so the videos were served to visitors on non-secure,
 causing mixed content warnings).  I attached a modified version of the
 patch that addresses this.
