 attachment:23497.diff​ moves the AJAX code to `admin-ajax.php` and `ajax-
 actions.php`, uses the templating originally impl'd by media, and
 rehabilitates some whitespace / removes unused code / etc. I didn't
 actually change much code, just made it work in the ways I described.
