 Just to be super clear here: no, I'm not. I kept the current version of
 get_avatar in pluggable.php and overrode it in a plugin for testing.

 I think I see what you're saying, though. Plugins conflicts could occur if
 one plugin is overriding the function and another plugin is trying to call
 the updated version of the function—but, it would seem any decent plugin
 author would check for this error before proceeding.
