 To be clear, are these your steps to reproduce?
  * Create a page.
  * Add a page_summary data point.
  * Save.
  * Edit that page again.
  * Let autosave run.
  * Lose data.

 There's nothing your code is doing that suggests to me there would be a
 change in behavior from 3.5 to 3.6. That's the thing we need to figure out
 right now.
