> Just thought I'd chime in that Lance and I thought the same thing (You
can probably see this by reading #17979). However, this was decided in
one of the dev meetings and we were overruled.
Can we bring this up again? I think based on Andrew's feedback it doesn't
make sense to persist the data longer than a month.

This patch should take care of that by moving the non-matching widgets to
the orphan area, one per widget.
