 Yes, it specifically matches the string "true".

 In the future could you patch the .dev.js file(s). It's easier for you
 (they are not minified) and it's easier to read the changes. To use the
 non-minified js files in WordPress add `define('SCRIPT_DEBUG', true);` to
 the top of your wp-config.php file.
