Comment:

 Twenty Ten uses the post thumbnail of the post, if the thumbnail is large
 enough.

 You should create a child theme that exposes random images and release it.
 Or maybe a plugin that allows multiple custom header images on rotation. I
 don't think we would do this for Twenty Ten; it has been shipped and will
 likely not have any drastic changes to its base functionality such as
 this.
