 Sorry for the late reply but I wasn't receiving emails that the ticket had

 Initially I had the link in the post and in the trackback field (with
 /trackback appeneded). It didn't work. I then realised that wordpress can
 auto detect trackbacks, so removed it from the trackback field; still
 didn't work.

 If you would like me to run a plugin on my blog to get more information,
 please just ask.
