 It would be a real pain to rename the column in the wp_posts table and all
 the functions that use post_type. Plus, if the table is called wp_posts,
 it wouldn't really help anything.

 Having only the functions and arguments renamed would actually add
 cognitive load.

 So the only place we could use "Content Type" would be in the admin. But
 with the current patch, I don't see any appearance of "Post Type".
