I apologize in advance if these are mentioned on another ticket.
Also, I usually don't like to create tickets without patches, but I'm not
entirely sure that these problems aren't supposed to be features, and I'm
also not sure that someone at Automattic won't suddenly introduce all the
fixes in a huge patch, because that's been happening a lot recently with
the uploader. But let me know, and I'll happily write the patches myself.
* You cannot add existing uploads to a new post
* Inserting an image into a post is unclear. You have to click "show" to
expand the upload's editable features, and there you find "send to
editor." Instead, "send to editor" should be on the first screen, perhaps
next to "show," or "show" should be changed to something more descriptive,
such as "more options."
* There is no apparent way to send just an image (not in a link) to the
editor, and there is no apparent way to link to an attachment page
(instead of just the original image)
* The media shadowbox closes as soon as you click "send to editor." This
really slows the workflow when you're trying to add multiple pictures,
because it takes so long for the thing to open in the first place (about 5
seconds), and then you have to re-expand the image to send it to the
editor.
* If you close the uploader and re-open it, the "insert gallery" button
disappears. It only reappears when you upload something new.
