 I just encountered this problem, too. In my two 2.6.5 installations, the
 dashboard conveniently indicated that a plugin needed updating and the
 plugins page allowed easy automatic updating. But in my 2.7RC1
 installation, nothing -- not even on the plugins page.

 This apparently was a problem in earlier 2.7 betas as well, because the
 plugin in question is actually now 2 updates behind the 2.6.5 sites.
