 I've tried visiting the plugins page, refreshing it, deleting browser
 cache, etc, in 4 different browsers both on Windows and Mac with no luck,
 so it's definitely not computer-related.

 The RSS feeds display just fine on the dashboard. The plugins I have now
 were installed using the new built-in plugin browser/installer a few weeks
 ago, but for reasons outlined above, I cannot update any of them.

 I can also update my WP installation without problems through the core
 update tool.
