Comment:

 Can you provide us with some idea of what you want to achieve with this
 filter?

 Do you want to:

  * Change the link destination
  * Change the link text
  * Add extra links

 I would prefer to add more specific filters/actions if possible than just
 passing a nebulous string through the filter which may change and will be
 harder for plugins to manipulate than a simple filter on a link for
 example.
