Comment (by jeffr0):
When I discover a new plugin and I want to install it from within
WordPress, I copy and paste the name into the search box. Over the years,
I've run into the issue where the plugin I'm searching for isn't the first
result despite the search query being an exact match for the title. This
gives the impression that the search functionality is broken.
I'd like to see plugin titles that have an exact match to be the first
result. By the way, I did use Quotes as mentioned above and the plugin I
was looking for was the first result. But I don't think people search the
plugin directory that way.
