 In my Trac Preferences (Core and Meta), I set the "Never notify:" when "I
 update a ticket" rule.

 Updating the default:
 - The

 current Trac notification settings] included `always_notify_updater =
 true`, though I am not sure that Trac still follows the `[notification]`
 rules ([https://trac.edgewall.org/ticket/2247#comment:66 Trac's Trac]
 mentions migrating `always_notify_*`).
 - More recent versions of Trac support a `[notification-subscriber]`
 [https://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracNotification#SubscriberConfiguration
 configuration section], which has `never_notify_updater` settings.
