 Agreed with Dion's assessment and closing it as 'wontfix', though if you
 do follow up by creating an issue at the appropriate project's GitHub repo
 as recommended, reply here with a link to it and the status can be changed
 to 'reported-upstream'.

 Otherwise, this is very much trivial and an edge case. And the only issue
 is that the view isn't ultimately toggled back to the 'Month' view when
 the edge-case scenario is tried. The existing behavior isn't much of a
 problem in that it is still fully functional, and the user can switch the
 view back to 'Month' themselves.
