 Clever balanced proposal! Would improve a majority of use cases. Certainly
 a candidate for a minimal consensus regarding editing timeframe policy.

 @zodiac1978 thanks for pointing out the perspective of a plugin developer
 /support-agent or possibly new plugin owner, who should get the
 opportunity to follow up. And where a different treatment would be
 technically/administratively easy to implement due to specific user-roles.
