 About the ghosting Torsten: perhaps.

 The issue is more that some changes are not significantly enough to fit in
 a persons spare time to fix/pick up within a few months. Lot of plugin
 developers are doing this in spare/free time. And some fixes/features just
 need more time because well.. they are big/complicated. Combined with the
 spare/free time aspect yes it could take months.
