 Otto, the dependency isn’t invalid, it’s simply not available from dot
 org.

 Just like a dev who advertises their premium plugin from their dot org
 plugin, reviews based on that stand. A poor experience will be the
 developer’s issue and they should provide information. Having a populated
 plugin card provides that information.

 Obviously until we can find some compromise on how to provide this data I
 wouldn’t recommend developers add the headers for non dot org plugins. It
 is my hope that when a compromise is reached they will be able to provide
 that data and the experience will be nearly identical to a dependency from
 dot org.
