 Obviously stopping animations appears tricky. Just throwing this in,
 please shoot it down in animated flames.  Why to plugin devs animate
 icons? To stand out in the search lists!  So if the plugin search
 algorithm could detect animations and bury animated icons at the bottom,
 plugin devs would quickly revert to static.
