Comment:

 Unfortunately I'm going to close this ticket, as it's out of scope of what
 WordPress.org can fix.

 I would suggest that this be filed upstream on
 [https://github.com/Automattic/o2 o2's Github page] so that the fixes
 eventually also apply to the Make sites.
