 Thanks @xhon for chiming in. Just a couple points of clarification:

 1) The proposal isn't about adding new fields. It's about the placeholder
 text like Github does it.
 2) "Placeholder" might be the wrong term actually in the end. It's
 actually "default text" that serves as a template. Meaning, it will NOT
 disappear when you click in there.

 I like your notice area idea, but I don't see that as a replacement for
 the "default text template", but it might be worth creating a separate
 issue about that.
