 On more than one occasion I've tripped up on the fact that the subdomain
 for an individual profile is https://profiles.wordpress.org/garyj
 (`profiles`, plural), and not https://profile.wordpress.org/garyj
 (`profile`, singular).

 Would it be of value to add a redirect that would eliminate this issue?
 Right now, the incorrect subdomain means the user gets jarringly
 redirected to https://wordpress.org/.
