Comment (by joyously):

 I still wonder if all these criteria are used in the actual search or if
 they are only used in the ranking of the search results (with the search
 being on the text entered, whether that is title or description or a
 taxonomy).
 I think the two methods would yield different results, and if the ranking
 is done after the search, it would be easier to allow the user to
 manipulate it using a sort or other filter.
