Comment:

 I'm guessing this is something that the Community team would want to
 discuss on their p2, since adding new types of badges is more of a policy
 decision than a discussion about technical implementation.

 > As an aside, trac is considered a development tool, while discussions
 about WordCamp policies and general direction for the wordcamp.org setup
 overall happen on the make.wordpress.org/community blog (the team that
 runs all WordCamp stuff). Most of that community team doesn't watch for
 tickets on the bug tracker, since it's not something we've used for policy
 discussion.

 This can be reopened after the discussion, if the decision is to go ahead
 with it.
