Simple refutation: Go to http://blogs.wsj.com. Look at any entry on
any of the Wall Street Journal's blogs. You'll find this at the bottom
of the entry:
"Share on Facebook | Del.icio.us | Digg this"

Social Bookmarking is extremely commonplace in the modern world. Even
the Wall Street Journal does it.
