Yes please! I'm just getting crazy on a plugin which, with those  
hooks, would be an easy ride. :-))
I think that the more hooks we can provide to authors, the more CMSy  
plugin would be written, and I feel this is the way to work.
absolutely +++++1 for me, even if I'm just a newbie :-)
