Otto,

The TRT has been over ruled by the WordPress Foundation, Matt himself, and has been greatly influenced by Automattic and Audrey Capitol.
This situation is highly political with many different factions, and people in power at play. I know this because I’ve met all of you, and I’ve witnessed it, I’ve attended WordCamps, Community Summits, and this is simply the nature of the beast.
The TRT is subject to several governing bodies and influences of which it has no control over. Technically I’m a member of the TRT, and I’ve been here just as long as some of you, and my say in this matter is essentially moot.
All I can do is make a logical request to be able to reuse my brand name.
Please stay on topic, and purpose a solution that fits your principles because basically unless you give me the thumbs up its pretty clear this issue is dead and I’m not getting anywhere and we’re just wasting everyones time right now.
