He wasn't asking about general HTML theory and the generic idea of "buttons".

What does YOUR button do, in your theme? Specifically. What class does
it add? What wrapper does it add? Why does it do that? Why does YOUR
theme have or need a button?

The answers to these questions *do matter*, You're not going to get a
generic response saying "all buttons are okay" because not all buttons
are okay. But some might be, depending on their purpose.

Forget the general question. Answer the specific one for YOUR specific needs.
