[theme-reviewers] Sliderkit jquery plugin with themes

Hey i want to use sliderkit as a slider in my next theme but the problem
is this kit having a dependency of jquery library version 1.9.0 .But my
wordpress jquery version is 1.8.3, do i need to de-register default jquery
and register it with this jquery version 1.9.0 and then enqueu it in header
Please help me out...
