Hi Srikanth,
Let it take this way, The trac queue takes more than 2-3 weeks of time to
reach the ticket .. for your concerned ticket it was 5 weeks.. I know how
much effort you have put in this, I really appreciate that. The whole
ticket review process is voluntary and if someone joins it tomorrow and
reach to your another ticket after 2 weeks then rules have been written two
weeks back.. and he/she may not be knowing when guidelines have been
changed. Even I joined it three days back or so, I am not sure if any rules
have been implemented last week, so it won't work like this.
The main things, I wanted to ask.
* Should the child themes be allowed for the parent theme which are not
adhere to guidelines but currently live? Certainly child theme authors can
override and adhere to guidelines and supply other php files... some extra
work.. but I prefer quality then quantity.
no offence, I am open for discussions.. but I really think all the theme
should adhere to rules immediately, and all rules should be immediately
effective.
Thanks
Ash
