[theme-reviewers] BuddyPress themes and the theme test unit

In reviewing a BuddyPress theme should the same WordPress standard theme test unit be appliedor is there an exception to the rule?.
What I mean is, is the theme required to meet both BuddyPress as well as WordPress contentdisplay requirements?
