[theme-reviewers] Feature slider default links

Chip,

I hear you, it is not that I'm asking for special treatment really, I am simply asking for permission to have my feature slider links to somewhere since this is a grey area that is not clearly defined.

As a lot of the other people have replied to this have suggested, and even when I spoke to Otto about this in person the main issue was with the rule regarding the credit footer link.

Since we are not talking about a footer link, and this isn't a credit link - it's demoing functionality of a feature slider, this technically isn't against any existing review guideline as far as I can tell. I'm not abusing these links, and these are absolutely default links and are replaced by the user if they wish to use the slider. That makes them temporary in nature, and it is how a lot of themes on .org handle default options. Again, I'm not really sure how to demo that you can link these images to something without actually linking them to something.

This ability to link the slider to a URL is sometimes the deciding factor behind why someone will use my theme over another theme, and it is important that I be able to demo that functionality.

I guess the big question at this point is, this has been in this theme for months, did I violate a rule or do these links need to be changed or removed?
