Agreed with the first part on if there are no rules.
The 2nd part implies that you will need to keep checking the redirect as
long as the theme sits in the repo with that redirect. The redirect may be
static, the server where it redirects to isn't per definition. Checking it
once and saying hey it's ok while knowing what can happen afterwards, might
not be what we want to do.
