[theme-reviewers] A RE-EXAMINATION OF THEME REQUIREMENTS - AN ESSAY

Since we're on the subject, I'd like to say Bruce isn't alone in being
frustrated with theme rejects. I've put hours into the theme I've worked on
as well, and have tried uploading multiple times and gotten rejected. And I
had the same feeling as Bruce: the theme requirements were changing so much
I couldn't keep up. By the time I got around to making the corrections,
something seemed to have changed. It doesn't bother me nearly as much
because I am more of a hobbyist and haven't invested so much into it, but It
can be very discouraging. I'm afraid the end result may be a lot fewer
people willing to build themes without compensation.

The theme check plugin is really helpful though. If the theme check plugin
can one day guarantee (or at least virtually guarantee) acceptance and give
feedback, that would be great. (Also, it would help make reviewing themes
go faster.)
