[wp-hackers] Pages and an alternate location

A related issue: if in Options I set my weblog URI to http://mysite/blog/ it 
seems that all pages will automatically be published under mysite/blog/ and 
cannot be placed in the root directory of mysite/

Any possible solutions to this?
