I'd like to offer an "edit" of the above comment so that everyone can better 
understand the true spirit of the remark. Here is the statement as I wish I had 
written it:

My apologies for not making this clearer from the beginning. However, I still 
reserve the right to pin hackers to the wall as the unofficial and 
self-appointed "vox populi". <eg>
