[wp-hackers] Is this a plugin, or just me not understanding API

Since it didn't want the HREFs that are normally generated by list_cats
(ie cat permalink) but instead go to archive.php?cat=CATID, so I mode
a copy of list_cats(). is archive.php?cat=CATID able to be passed to
list_cats() a better way?
