[wp-hackers] Pages

Apologies if I've missed something very obvious.

Create new page, click to view it I get a 404.
Check CVS and upload template-functions-links.php just to be sure.
404 persists. Delete the file on the server and reupload - error repeats.
Also, the complete rewrite rules are written to the .htaccess file again.
I delete the older rules there, and again try to view a page - 404.
I can see what's meant to be happening as I've read the threads and 
links, but it doesn't work.

I'm not yelling for a fix here, just playing with things so I'm in a 
better position to answer on the forums. I mean, who'd have a page 
called zebra! :)
