Actually, a correction to my prior post about hashcash verification. 
To verify the stamp, the server would have to take the stampseed2
portion of the submitted stamp, combine it with internal data (date,
server_ip) from the SERVER-SIDE php code (NOT the submitted stampseed1
data) and compute the md5 of THAT to verify the stamp. (I was
rebuilding that code from memory).
