What about some kind of "plugin blog"?

The plugin authors would write on the blog, it is searchable, allows
comments, you can sort by categories (supported WP version and plugin
categories). Plugins could live on the authors site and you can link
to it. If you want comments in your personal blog, just disable
comments and add a link to your blog (if you have one).

What do you think about it?
