This may be of little practical use, but I would like to note that I have been astounded, and
really quite pleased, at how easy I have found it to structure the things I want as plugins,
rather than as raw and difficult-to-sustain hacks. Aside from the weather report thing,
they've all been very minor adjustments to how data is selected or formatted, the kind of
things that would be much more difficult to sustain over the long term outside of an overall
structure that not only concedes the possibility of hacks, but actively makes up spare beds
and sets extra places at table should one or two wander by.
