We've gone off in the weeds, and it's my fault.  This is not the place
to discuss the sins and merits of America.  My request is simply to
avoid dissing Americans as well as any other nationality or ethnicity on
the lists, forums, and IRC channel.  We keep descending into these long
threads about how stupid and evil Americans are.  I don't really care to
hear the same old arguments and jokes every time I log on to IRC or
every time we discuss measurement standards.  It's not worth my time.
