 I'm in agreement with Boone.

 My thoughts are we can deprecate the BuddyBar functions, but retain its
 functionality if needed.

 In `bp_core_load_admin_bar()`, if `bp_use_wp_admin_bar()` is false, we
 could then load up the deprecated BuddyBar functions file (eg. `bp-
 core/deprecated/2.1/buddybar.php`) and everything should still work.  This
 is how I envision Boone's point no. 1 in comment:3.
