Comment:

 Null, I'm beginning to see the light here :)

 Especially when hosting several sites from the same bbPress install, some
 sort of plugin-autoload would be handy.

 How should it work?

 Here's one idea:

  Any files found in the PLUGINDIR that begin with an underscore will be
 loaded automatically.
