 @flixos90 @DrewAPicture What do you think about re-enabling the redirect
 only for the `Activate` buttons in the plugin cards to resolve this for
 6.5.3, and address redirect removal in favour of "live"
 (AJAX/Interactivity API basically) admin menus, notices, pointers, etc as
 part of / a follow-up to the admin redesign project?

 That means we could resolve this issue for now, while not relegating
 further UX improvements to ''maybelater'' limbo.
