I'm experiencing a bug on my WordPress website, and I'm not really sure
who I should be asking about it. I currently only have one WordPress.org
website, so I don't know if others would be able to reproduce the bug or
if it's a problem specific to my website. A certain plugin seems to be
involved in some way, but it doesn't seem like it's actually a bug in the
plugin, since the problem persists when I deactivate all plugins and
switch themes. I tried reporting the bug to that plugin's developer anyway
and got no response. I couldn't get much help from the support forum
 either.

When I go to edit certain blog posts on my site, some of the content is
missing from the editor. Specifically, anywhere I had put a shortcode for
the Easy Footnotes plugin in the middle of a bulleted list, the rest of
the list that comes after that shortcode is now gone in most cases. The
content is still intact in the most recently published version of the
post, but it doesn't show up in the editor at all, and it does disappear
from the actual published post if I edit and save the post.
