Comment:

 This has nothing to do with testing Rollback. Perhaps you should read the
 description and perhaps try to understand the potential problems that such
 a filter can solve.

 Peter, perhaps you could articulate why this filter on its own is
 unsuitable for core on its own merits. I have explained exactly how, using
 a simple plugin, this filter could benefit 99+% of all WordPress users.

 Please don’t let your personal bias against Rollback impair your judgment.
