[wp-hackers] Trigger on Screen options checkbox

Hello all,

I'm working on a plugin that has 'boxes' that can be hidden through the 
Screen Options dropdown. In order to display the most recent data inside 
each of them, I'd like a javascript function to be triggered as soon as 
the 'box' is set to visible. Is there anything I can leverage to achieve 
this? (other than hooking my function to 'onchange' on the checkbox)
