Please look at this as example:
New version exists but since hours the wrong version is shown as download.
WordPress build in update shows correct version.

Actually, this was happening before the upgrade. The creation of the
ZIP files and putting them into the cache takes a fair amount of time,
so for a few minutes or so after the plugin update shows up, the zip
file will still be the old one.
This has always been the case, as far as I know.
If it's still not showing up after about 10 minutes, then there may be an
